Protests erupt outside Kasba Police station as 3 arrested in alleged Kolkata college gang rape
Posters have surfaced in Ward No. 35 of Bidhannagar Municipal Corporation, declaring councillor Joydev Naskar as "missing." The posters allege that Naskar had collected ₹20 to ₹25 lakh from each piece of land but is now absent when residents need him. They further claim that several buildings in the area are being labeled as illegal, leading to widespread discontent. In response, the posters warn that no votes will be cast for the Trinamool Congress in the upcoming elections.
Another poster, reportedly put up by a concerned resident, has demanded the immediate resignation of Joydev Naskar. The allegations and public resentment have intensified tensions in the area, with residents questioning the councillor’s role and accountability.
